Monica G. Tibbits is Executive Director of TransitWorks, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality and increasing the use of public transit through sound research.  Ms. Tibbits comes from a Public Policy and Urban Design background.  After earning her Bachelors of Science in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Southern Indiana, she attended the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.  While earning her Masters of City and Regional Planning at Ohio State, she worked for the City of Columbus, the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission, and the Greater Linden Development Corporation. A native of Topeka, Indiana, Ms. Tibbits currently resides in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston.
