Recycling & Waste Reduction

Guest Presenter: Morgan Harriman, Commercial Waste Reduction Planner, MassDEP

Each year in the Commonwealth, more than 3 million tons of solid waste is collected from businesses, institutions and industry. This represents approximately one half of the total solid waste stream.

Learn and discuss ways your business, institution, or building can set its own  reduction goals, design its own programs, and implement strategies to reduce waste - all in ways that are tailored to your specific needs through programs like WasteWise, sponsored by the US EPA and MassDEP.
